Fulfilling the duties of a Relationship Banking Manager is central in:

• Boosting the overall well-being of our customers and the strength of their businesses by providing a range of financial solutions, educational support, and invaluable advice.
• Strategically coordinating with commercial lending colleagues, private banking partners, Retail Regional Managers, and Branch Managers to carry out sales strategies successfully.
• Proficiency in determining the business focus and developing a plan to drive growth.

Responsibilities include:

• Fulfill quarterly and yearly targets by driving business growth in CI, CRE, real estate lending, SBA financing, treasury management, deposit options, investment opportunities, and a suite of commercial and consumer services provided through East West Bank.
• Work with the Regional Manager and/or Branch Manager to develop and execute marketing strategies that prioritize the customer perspective, aiming to attract new business through prospecting, outside outreach, networking, and referrals.
• Uphold and implement an extensive knowledge of the bank's credit policy, customer eligibility, and all required business practices to ensure the submission of accurate and complete loan packages for commercial and consumer purposes.
• Become an active participant in local and regional business events; coordinate and oversee specialized campaigns and activities.
• Provide guidance to management on evaluating the current competition policies and practices, if requested.
• Advise customers on the options available to them for banking and investing through our digital channels, catering to their desired convenience and methods.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned as required.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years in commercial lending and/or private banking with proven sales track record.
• Profound understanding of CI loans, SBA loans, or industry-tailored financing is essential.
• Applicants with a deep understanding of banking operations, credit services, and deposit products, especially with experience in facilitating international transactions between the U.S. and Greater China, will be prioritized.
• Skilled in analytics, marketing/sales techniques, consulting, and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in conveying ideas through both written and oral means.
• Possess a proclivity for dynamic workplaces, a dedication to accomplishing tasks, and prowess in collaborative settings.
• Conveying a robust desire and proficiency in guiding, teaching, and fostering associations among team members, collaborators, and consumers in the technology industry.
• Displays adaptability in learning and embracing new information and technology platforms.
