Associate Leader in Branch Banking

Job Summary:

The Branch Banking Assistant Leader is focused on driving branch revenue growth, maintaining operational integrity, and enhancing client experience, with a special emphasis on building and sustaining a positive reputation within the community.

Job Responsibilities:

• Boost business performance by expanding the market growth of essential client associations and achieving financial growth goals. Actively seek and deliver appropriate client referrals to the designated team members to meet growth targets and implement successful sales initiatives.
• Sales Leadership and Coaching Assistance: Contributions made in coaching, development, and mentorship for team members. Actively supporting partner-driven sales and marketing campaigns. Reinforcing the importance of training, development, and coaching for branch teams regarding our mission and effective interaction with broader communities and customers to deliver on performance targets. Responsible for helping the Branch Banking Leader with talent management duties such as recruitment, performance evaluations, staff development/training, disciplinary actions, succession planning, and ensuring all staff members comply with regulations.
• Leverage available tools and systems to enhance client participation and educational programs. Instill a culture that emphasizes delivering a superior client experience while remaining committed to our mission and overarching goals.
• Risk Management: Recognize and reduce risks associated with reputation, regulations, staff, and customers by helping team members understand and adhere to all pertinent bank policies and regulations. Achieve operational excellence goals.
• Assuming responsibility for talent management duties like recruitment, performance evaluations, employee training, disciplinary processes, succession planning, and verifying staff adherence to regulatory requirements.

Additional Accountabilities:

• Executes specialized initiatives and additional tasks as required.
• Consistently abides by the regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the position as stated and fulfills compulsory compliance training. Responsible for maintaining compliance with the necessary federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Job Qualifications:

• Successful applicants are expected to have attained the educational milestone of high school graduation or its equivalent, like a GED, HiSET, TASC, or a foreign educational credential of similar standing.
• Interested applicants must have accumulated at least two years of experience in branch sales.
• The mandatory registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) may be a condition imposed by the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and its associated Regulation.
• Hands-on involvement with numerous banking products and services.

• Competence developed through practical application of banking risk management strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Applicants should ideally possess a Bachelor's degree or have accumulated relevant experience in the field.
• In-depth knowledge gained from four or more years in branch banking and sales roles in financial institutions.
• Being actively in charge of a leadership role.
