Job Summary:

Working alongside stakeholders, the Credit Risk Reporting Analyst assists in generating the company's reserve for potential credit losses in the loan and lease sector on a quarterly basis. Through analysis and collaboration, they contribute to determining anticipated credit losses according to the prescribed procedures and by documenting the rationale behind their findings.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise the quarterly creation of the allocation for credit loss reserves, handling the designated responsibilities separately, in line with the approved methodology and SOX regulatory framework.
• Explore primary catalysts behind shifts in the ACL, encompassing variations in volume and interest rates, economic outlooks, and the blend of credit types, as well as offering solutions for unconventional drivers impacting these changes.
• Engage in cooperation with the Credit department and other relevant parties to recommend, formulate, and document qualitative changes.
• Develop and keep relevant ACL support documents current, encompassing materials for working groups, governance meetings on a quarterly basis, ad-hoc reports and analyses, and financial disclosures along with regulatory filings.
• Aid in the effective communication of results and other relevant ACL-related issues to stakeholders within and outside the organization.
• Provide support in executing internal strategic initiatives to ensure seamless integration with the ACL Program.
• Keeps up-to-date with the relevant accounting criteria and regulatory directives associated with Current Expected Credit Losses, as well as the credit risk components influencing the loan and lease portfolio.

Additional Accountabilities:

• Undertakes unique projects and supplementary roles as necessary.
• Demonstrates a commitment to adhering to the regulatory and compliance protocols specified in the job requirements and fulfills the necessary compliance education. Responsible for ensuring adherence to the applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Job Requirements:

• The educational prerequisite entails completing a four-year undergraduate program or its equal.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in credit risk management, accounting, or similar roles is required.
• Proficient in Python.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with CECL (Current Expected Credit Loss) is important.
• Expertise gained in financial institutions of medium and large scales.
• Using the Alteryx platform in practice.

Job Competencies:

• Essential comprehension of financial evaluation and projecting future financial trends.
• Understanding of software for data retrieval and analysis.
• Strong aptitude for quantitative analysis and problem-solving.
• Professional writing skills.
• Strong skills in articulating thoughts clearly and showcasing information convincingly.
• Established track record of successfully overseeing allocated responsibilities, engaging with a range of stakeholders, and meeting expectations consistently.
• Travel < 15%.
• No special physical strain is required for this task (ADA).
