Qualifications:

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in banking, finance, business, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of supervisory or managerial experience in retail banking.
• Active involvement in multiple community organizations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, banking systems, and office equipment.
• Demonstrated skill in training and mentoring staff.
• Proven sales ability and strong interpersonal skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of retail banking products and services; experience in originating consumer and small business loans preferred.
• Ensures compliance with Federal, State, and local consumer protection laws governing loan origination, including the SAFE Act.

Store Management:

• Approximately 20% of time is dedicated to cultivating key client relationships.
• Executes sales and promotional strategies with creativity and enthusiasm to achieve goals and exceed quality metrics.
• Supports the streamlined delivery of financial solutions and services, including customized loans, cash management, and investment monitoring, by referring clients to appropriate departments.
• Leads store growth initiatives, targeting consumer and small business markets, or both, depending on market conditions, and ensures daily and weekly growth objectives are met.

Team Leadership:

• Oversees recruitment, deployment, performance evaluation, development, promotion, and, if necessary, separation of store associates.
• Coaches and mentors employees to acquire the skills necessary for their roles, emphasizing technical expertise in consumer and small business lending.
• May coach, mentor, or train others and deliver instruction as a subject matter expert.

Operational and Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensures operational efficiency while maintaining compliance and quality standards.
• Adheres to all relevant banking regulations and stays current with regulatory updates.
• Maintains knowledge of policies and procedures regarding the Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security, and other applicable regulations.
