Job Summary:

In their role, the Assistant Branch Operations Leader is tasked with driving revenue growth, ensuring operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional customer experiences, while also placing a high value on maintaining a positive reputation in the local community.

Job Responsibilities:

• Enhance business performance by expanding the market growth of key client partnerships and achieving financial growth benchmarks. Actively pursue and facilitate suitable client connections to the designated team member(s) to meet growth targets and implement successful sales initiatives.
• Sales Leadership and Coaching Responsibilities: Duties include supporting the coaching, growth, and mentorship of team members. Actively championing partner-driven sales and marketing endeavors. Stressing the importance of training, growth, and coaching for branch teams on our mission and effectively engaging with wider communities and customers to reach performance targets. Tasked with aiding the Branch Banking Leader in talent management tasks like recruitment, performance evaluations, staff development/training, disciplinary measures, succession planning, and ensuring staff adherence to compliance standards.
• Implement tools and systems effectively to facilitate client engagement and educational initiatives. Nurture a culture that prioritizes offering an exceptional client experience through a steadfast commitment to achieving our mission and purpose.
• Risk Management: Recognize and reduce reputational, regulatory, employee, and client risks by assisting team members in comprehending and following all relevant bank policies and regulations. Attain operational excellence guidelines.
• Handling talent management functions such as recruitment, performance reviews, employee training, disciplinary procedures, succession planning, and ensuring staff compliance with regulations.

Additional Accountabilities:

• Accomplishes unique projects and supplemental duties as the situation demands.
• Consistently follows the regulatory and compliance policies and standards relevant to the role as described and fulfills the mandatory compliance training. Responsible for ensuring compliance with the applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Job Qualifications:

• The educational prerequisite for participation is established at the high school tier, encompassing those with GEDs, HiSET, TASC scores, or an analogous foreign educational diploma.
• Successful candidates should have a track record of at least two years in branch sales.
• The S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and its Regulation could dictate the need for National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration as a mandatory step.
• Practical knowledge gained from utilizing an assortment of banking products.

• Expertise in managing risks within the banking industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

• This position requires either a 4-year college degree or an equivalent amount of relevant work experience.
• A background that includes four-plus years of experience in branch banking and sales within financial institutions.
• Engaging directly in a leadership role.
