The primary function of this role is to supervise all activities, personnel, and day-to-day operations within a bank branch. The focus is on implementing the Webster banking center network strategy to achieve targets in sales, customer service, profit and loss management, operations, and staff development, as well as assisting in accomplishing District objectives. The essential duty is to secure, integrate, and enhance new and ongoing client relationships. The colleague must establish and uphold strong partnerships with segment and line of business partners by fostering collaboration and effective communication.
The requirements and duties that you will need to meet:
Meet and exceed all sales targets, retention goals, and standards of Superior Service Quality (SSQ) consistently.
Create, put into action, and manage a comprehensive business plan alongside participating in establishing team sales and service objectives.
Foster and sustain customer connections, actively market additional services, and swiftly resolve customer issues. Facilitate the implementation of the segmentation strategy among existing clients by integrating sales methodologies, customer retention practices, and diverse bank initiatives to enhance the progress and revenue goals of the Banking Center.
Discover, develop, and fortify key customer segment connections through targeted sales strategies and advocating for referrals.
Retain a working knowledge of all Webster asset, liability, and partner services, along with the alternative delivery options.
Train, mentor, and enforce team accountability by demonstrating effective leadership skills and modeling the expected conduct.
Master the use of all available sales tools and resources and demonstrate their application.
Meeting or surpassing branch operations review expectations requires audits to be completed promptly.
Ensure that Federal and State laws, along with bank policies, are followed meticulously.
Plan the rotations of branch employees to accommodate customer service requirements and enable flexibility in staffing schedules at the banking facility.
Create avenues for career development and acknowledge and reward employees for their successes to enhance their engagement and motivation.
Facilitate the training of new team members regarding the policies, procedures, and operational roles within the banking center to ensure their effective integration.
Skills and Abilities:
Detailed expertise in the products and services provided by retail banks.
Possessing exceptional customer service skills, adeptness in relationship building, organizational expertise, computer proficiency, comfort with current technology, and effective communication aptitudes are crucial attributes.
Education Qualifications:
A General Education Degree (GED) or high school diploma is a compulsory qualification for this role
The desired qualification for this position is a BA/BS degree in Arts or Sciences
Experience Qualifications:
5-7 years of experience in the banking industry is a prerequisite, demonstrating adeptness in leadership responsibilities, customer service acumen, managerial capabilities, effective communication, and organizational skills
