Job Description:

As a Commercial Banker, you will be responsible for developing, expanding, and managing commercial client relationships while delivering a high-quality banking experience. This role focuses on assessing business financial needs, providing tailored commercial banking solutions, and identifying opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and long-term profitability. Commercial Bankers actively engage clients through relationship management, outbound calling, business visits, and networking activities while meeting individual and portfolio performance goals.

Key Functions and Responsibilities:

• Advise commercial clients on the full range of banking products and services, including branch-based offerings, digital solutions, and partner resources.
• Meet individual and portfolio targets through proactive client engagement, relationship reviews, and outbound business development efforts.
• Open and manage commercial accounts, assist clients with account selection, review account documentation, and ensure compliance with BSA and CIP requirements.
• Support commercial and consumer lending activities by gathering applications, maintaining knowledge of loan policies and procedures, and assisting with loan portfolio oversight.
• Identify client needs and coordinate referrals to specialized teams supporting treasury services, small businesses, corporate banking, mortgage services, and financial advisory partners.
• Maintain high levels of client satisfaction through proactive communication and delivery of exceptional service.
• Ensure all assigned tasks and documentation comply with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and internal procedures.
• Respond accurately and professionally to client inquiries and service requests while recommending appropriate banking solutions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills for one-on-one and small group client interactions.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-driven banking environment.
• Capability to guide and support branch or relationship teams in alignment with established procedures when required.

Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of customer-facing or commercial banking experience with a goal-oriented focus.
• Ability to meet licensing and registration requirements associated with the role, including NMLS registration if applicable.

Computer Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to utilize digital banking systems and platforms to support client service and business development.

Other Qualifications:

• Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings, training sessions, or business development activities.
• Ability to provide guidance and assistance to partner teams and banking units within the market.
