Job Summary:

The primary focus of the Branch Banking Assistant Leader is to increase branch revenue, uphold operational standards, and provide outstanding customer service, all while emphasizing the importance of maintaining a positive reputation in the community.

Job Responsibilities:

• Improve business performance by advancing the market expansion of primary client relationships and reaching financial growth targets. Actively seek and facilitate suitable client introductions to designated team members to meet growth milestones and execute successful sales plans.
• Sales Leadership and Coaching Functions: Support is provided in coaching, development, and mentorship for team members. Actively assisting in the implementation of sales and marketing strategies devised by partners. Underlining the necessity of training, development, and coaching for branch teams on our mission and how to engage effectively with wider communities and customers to meet performance objectives. Tasked with aiding the Branch Banking Leader in talent management functions like recruitment, performance appraisals, staff development/training, disciplinary measures, succession planning, and ensuring staff adherence to compliance standards.
• Leverage available tools and systems to enhance client participation and educational programs. Instill a culture that emphasizes delivering a superior client experience while remaining committed to our mission and overarching goals.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks concerning reputation, regulations, employees, and clients by fostering team members' comprehension and adherence to all applicable bank policies and regulations. Meet operational excellence objectives.
• Assuming responsibility for talent management duties like recruitment, performance evaluations, employee training, disciplinary processes, succession planning, and verifying staff adherence to regulatory requirements.

Additional Accountabilities:

• Accomplishes unique projects and supplemental duties as the situation demands.
• Consistently complies with regulatory and compliance policies and standards that are associated with the position as outlined and completes mandatory compliance training sessions. Accountable for maintaining compliance with relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Job Qualifications:

• Applicants are expected to have completed their education at the high school level or hold a recognized equivalent, such as a GED, HiSET, TASC, or a comparable certification from a foreign educational system.
• Candidates must possess over two years of branch sales experience.
• Compliance with the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and accompanying Regulation may involve the compulsory registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
• Practical knowledge gained from utilizing an assortment of banking products.

• Skills honed through hands-on experience in banking risk management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• An equivalent level of experience or a 4-year Bachelor's degree is the educational qualification preferred for this position.
• Extensive experience spanning more than four years in branch banking and sales in financial institutions.
• Practical involvement in a leadership position.
