Job Description: Floating Banking Associate

As a Floating Banking Associate (FBA), you will be responsible for building, expanding, and retaining client relationships while delivering an exceptional client experience. FBAs provide financial solutions to clients by assessing their needs and offering appropriate products and services to help them achieve their current and future financial goals. FBAs will promote Simmons solutions through daily interactions, outbound calls, client visits, networking events, and periodic 'At Work' events. FBAs are expected to meet or exceed individual and branch goals. You may also assist with account service, teller transactions, problem resolution, and other banking activities. All positions receive training on products, services, needs-based conversations, and tools required to perform the role.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Inform and advise clients on the bank's full suite of services, including in-branch services, digital tools, and external business partnerships.
• Achieve personal targets through the appropriate volume of in-person and outbound interactions, providing valuable solutions and recommendations based on a needs-focused philosophy.
• Manage all duties related to opening and closing accounts, assisting clients in selecting suitable accounts, reviewing account information, and complying with BSA and CIP regulations.
• Assist with consumer loan applications: solicit loan requests, maintain knowledge of loan policies and procedures, and support the management of consumer loan accounts across branches.
• Identify customer needs and refer them to a partner-focused team serving small businesses, corporate clients, institutions, mortgage advisors, and financial professionals.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and exceptional client service.
• Ensure all departmental documentation and operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures, including completion of mandatory compliance training.
• Respond to customer inquiries and process transactions professionally, engaging in meaningful conversations to determine needs and propose solutions.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in motivating and communicating effectively in one-on-one and small group settings with customers, clients, and colleagues.
• Adopt a team-centered approach to effectively support customers in a dynamic banking environment.
• Supervise and guide branch staff according to process and protocol in the absence of the AFCM.
• HS Diploma/GED
• One year of customer-facing experience with a goal-oriented approach
• Registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) is required
• Proficiency in MS Office programs
• Use social media platforms to increase brand visibility and gather market intelligence
• Occasional travel for meetings, training, and supporting bank conversions or acquisitions, with minimal overnight or out-of-town requirements
• Ability to provide guidance and support to other banking entities in the market
