Branch Support Banker

As a Branch Support Banker (BSB), you will help ensure smooth branch operations, assist clients with transactions, and support Relationship Bankers in delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will serve as a trusted resource for clients, providing guidance on banking products and services while upholding Simmons Bank’s professional standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with account opening, maintenance, and transaction processing.
• Provide guidance on banking products, digital tools, and partner services.
• Support branch and personal goals through customer interactions, both in-person and via outreach.
• Facilitate consumer loan documentation and assist in managing loan accounts.
• Identify client needs and connect them with specialized teams, including small business, corporate, mortgage, and financial advisors.
• Ensure compliance with BSA, CIP, and other regulatory requirements; complete required compliance training.
• Maintain high levels of client satisfaction through professional, solution-oriented service.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by branch leadership.

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma/GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 12 months of customer-facing experience, ideally in banking.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to support branch operations in a fast-paced environment.
• NMLS registration may be required depending on role responsibilities.

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency with MS Office and banking software.
• Ability to leverage social media and digital tools for client engagement and brand visibility.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Other Information:

• Occasional travel may be required for training, meetings, or branch support during conversions/acquisitions.
• Ability to provide guidance and support to other banking professionals when needed.
