Responsibilities:

  • Champions the fostering of a robust customer experience culture that underscores the importance of being fully engaged with clients and coworkers, appreciating the transformative impact that meaningful interactions can wield on their emotional, occupational, and financial well-being.
  • Carefully consider the information shared by clients during conversations to pinpoint areas for potential financial wellness improvements and offer customized recommendations to support their financial journey.
  • Continuously meets individual performance goals and outcomes as required.
  • Opening personal and business bank accounts, covering consumer checking services, small business banking products, a variety of deposit selections, home equity financing options, unsecured lending facilities, and certificate investment opportunities.
  • Forming resilient partnerships with branch associates and business partners to enhance client acquisition and deepen connections with existing clients, skillfully coordinating centers of influence both within and outside the organization.
  • Following operational, risk, security, and audit procedures and policies diligently, including accurately documenting client interactions.
  • Supporting branch activities includes providing help with client transactions at the Teller counter.
  • Attend morning stand-ups and, now and then, guide end-of-day reflections.
  • Tasked with completing additional duties as required; responsibilities and activities may be subject to change, with new ones potentially introduced suddenly and without prior notification.
  • Manifests adherence to all KeyBank policies and procedures by consistently acting professionally, conducting business ethically, preventing conflicts of interest, and prioritizing the interests of Key and its clients.

Education Qualifications:

  • Essential qualifications comprise a high school diploma or GED, or relevant business exposure
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience Qualifications:

  • At least one year of practice in cultivating relationships with current and potential customers, reaching sales goals, and building referral sources is a fundamental requirement. Having experience in sales is more pertinent than a background in financial services for this role at KeyBank. KeyBank is committed to providing the necessary resources and training, but they are looking for relationship builders who exhibit a curious nature and excel at initiating conversations to foster strong connections.   • The debt-to-income ratio serves as a way for lenders to gauge a borrower's financial health and ability to manage additional debt obligations. It is a critical factor in determining the borrower's capacity to repay the loan

  • Established proficiency in influencing business partners and utilizing centers of influence is crucial for this position, as significant influence over partners such as Key Investment Services, Mortgage, and Business Banking sales teams is fundamental. (indispensable)
  • Proficiency in PC usage, including familiarity with MS Windows and Office programs like Word and Excel, is necessary
