Commercial Finance Officer

Job Description:

Commercial Finance Officers are responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with business clients to understand their financial needs and provide customized loan solutions.

Our branch network is expansive and highly supportive, offering competitive products and pricing, as well as robust local operational backing to assist you in achieving your business development objectives. Creating a list of potential new clients and engaging in activities that drive new business development are essential for consistently adding new customer relationships. Reaches out to current clients to cultivate new business opportunities and expand or maintain existing relationships.

Required Skills:

• Expanded sales and marketing knowledge
• Strong grasp of working with credit legal documentation
• Demonstrated expertise in scrutinizing and assessing documentation for potential risks
• Experience navigating regulatory, compliance, and due diligence demands
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
• Expertise in banking operations and knowledge of the credit approval process
• Strong competencies in organization, logical deduction, and expressive communication
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently while multitasking, managing a demanding workload, and meeting key deadlines
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Power Point is required
• Capacity for initiating and sustaining impactful professional alliances

Required Experience:

• Qualified candidates will have showcased clear advancement in their commercial career
• Over five years of hands-on experience in credit assessment and portfolio management
• Three or more years of middle market commercial lending experience, strong credit skills, and a record of success in developing, maintaining, and closing new business
• Ability to apply deductive and inductive reasoning methods for effective problem-solving
• Capability to assimilate incoming information and use it in future scenarios to address issues and make informed decisions
