Responsibilities for Consumer Banker:
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
Understand client financial needs and recommend appropriate consumer banking products and services.
Promote banking solutions for individuals and small businesses while connecting clients with specialized teams such as Mortgage, Investments, and Wealth Management.
Conduct proactive client outreach through follow-up calls, onboarding activities, marketing initiatives, and community events.
Process banking transactions accurately while following bank policies and regulatory requirements.
Resolve client service concerns and provide account servicing and maintenance support.
Educate clients on digital banking solutions, including online banking, mobile banking, and ATM services.
Support fraud prevention efforts by following security procedures and completing required training.
Assist in achieving branch sales goals through new account growth, lending support, referrals, and client retention activities.
Participate in community outreach and networking activities to strengthen client relationships and represent the bank.
Qualifications for Consumer Banker:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Minimum one year of client consultation experience focused on relationship building, with consultative sales or banking experience preferred.
Minimum one year of banking experience including deposits, account servicing, new account opening, and consumer lending is preferred.
Eligible for NMLS registration or currently registered with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry.
