Financial Services Banker

The Financial Services Banker plays a key role in providing top-tier customer service while building and maintaining strong financial relationships. This position focuses on understanding clients' financial needs, recommending the right banking products, and supporting branch goals for both sales and service. The ideal candidate is someone who is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping clients achieve their financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving concerns promptly and professionally.
Guide clients in understanding and selecting the most suitable deposit products and banking solutions to meet their needs.
Proactively engage in sales activities, including following up with new clients, conducting outbound calls, and leveraging referrals to enhance relationships and expand business opportunities.
Direct clients to other areas of the bank to ensure a holistic approach to meeting their financial goals.
Comply with all operational, security, and regulatory policies and procedures.
Use strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish trust and maintain long-term customer relationships.
Take on additional duties and responsibilities as required to support branch operations and objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
At least one year of experience in customer service, sales, or financial services, or relevant military service experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

More than one year of experience in customer service, ideally in banking, financial services, or a goal-driven retail sales environment.
Cash handling experience.
Comfortable using technology, including mobile banking and online financial services, to effectively serve clients.
