Roaming Investment Advisors cater to individualized financial solutions for customers by supporting them with their everyday banking demands, initiating and upholding accounts, and proposing relevant products and services.

Vital functions and mandates:

Business Development:

• Establish a steady rhythm for SBA business progress within the market, covering a range of elements like:
• Development of call agendas and after-call procedures
• Client retention calls
• New client prospecting
• Outgoing telephone outreach activities
• Networking events
• Grow and fortify a mature Center of Influence (COI) ecosystem comprised of influential figures from both community and business realms to foster referral opportunities
• Tasked with overseeing sales efforts, analyzing credit profiles, setting up loan structures, compiling and submitting SBA loan applications, engaging in client interactions, and assessing personal attributes
• Foster and create innovative networks to expand the scope of your business relationships

Credit Acumen:

• Displays a thorough grasp of commercial credit resources, involving:
• Establishing fitting terms and commodities in accordance with the business requirements, asset longevity, and strategic plans for growth
• The analysis of financial statements and tax returns enables financial institutions to make informed decisions regarding the creditworthiness and risk of potential borrowers
• Estimating credit requirements for immediate and extended periods according to business sales cycles and growth blueprints
• Provides guidance to future clients regarding the principles that financial institutions follow when assessing loan requests, SBA schemes, and pertinent governmental statutes
• Collaborates with attorneys, loan closers, and internal colleagues to streamline the loan closing and funding process for timely completion
• Manages the interplay between business priorities, customer demands, and risk management strategies
• Adheres to the moral and behavioral expectations established by Seacoast Bank’s Code of Conduct
• Provides mentorship and guidance to junior SBA lending professionals
• Consistently follows the bank's procedures in accordance with regulatory standards, including those related to BSA, AML, and OFAC regulations
• Processes loan applications and gathers necessary applicant information while ensuring adherence to equitable lending standards and ethical sales practices
• Ensures timely and professional resolution of customer concerns, escalating issues to higher authorities when necessary

Education And Experience:

• It is essential to possess a high school diploma or its alternative
• Individuals with a background in a financial-related discipline from college are preferred
• Candidates with more than five years of direct experience in SBA lending are preferred for this position
• Successful candidates will have extensive experience exceeding 10 years in business development and financial services
• Skillful in written communication, verbal expression, and interpersonal interactions
• Proficiency in utilizing desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones, and Microsoft Office software
