Teller Representative

Role Overview:

This position focuses on delivering an excellent customer service experience, processing financial transactions accurately, assisting existing and prospective customers, and supporting branch sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide consistently high quality customer service to enhance customer satisfaction
Perform essential customer interactions and cash handling transactions
Reconcile daily cash balances to ensure financial accuracy and stability
Identify referral opportunities that contribute to branch success
Comply with all banking regulations and legal requirements, including Atlantic Union Bankshares’ BSA/AML Policy and Procedures
Identify risks and escalate concerns through proper procedures
Maintain knowledge of bank products, services, and other business units
Adapt to evolving digital banking channels and tools
Perform additional duties as assigned

Reporting Structure:

This role reports directly to the branch leader.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required
Cash handling experience preferred
Prior customer service experience required

Skills and Competencies:

Strong customer service skills
Effective verbal and written communication abilities
Sound business judgment and decision making skills
Basic computer proficiency
Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail
Flexibility and adaptability in changing environments
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
Flexible scheduling based on business needs

Compensation and Workplace:
