Job Description:

As a Cashier, you will be responsible for supporting client relationships while providing an exceptional client experience. You will assist in processing financial transactions, responding to account-related inquiries, and ensuring accurate and efficient service. Cashiers also support the promotion of bank products and services to help clients achieve their financial goals and maintain a positive customer experience. All Cashier positions receive standardized training on products, services, and tools necessary to perform the role.

Main Responsibilities and Duties Expected:

• Inform and advise customers about the full range of bank services, including in-branch services, digital offerings, and resources provided by business partners
• Meet personal objectives by conducting appropriate in-person and outbound interactions to provide solutions and recommendations based on customer needs
• Handle all duties associated with opening and closing accounts, guiding clients in account selection, reviewing account information, and ensuring compliance with BSA and CIP standards
• Assist with consumer loan requests, including gathering applications, maintaining awareness of loan policies, and supporting branch loan portfolio management
• Identify customer needs and refer clients to specialized teams for small business, corporate, institutional, and mortgage or financial advisory services
• Maintain high levels of client satisfaction through active engagement and consistent delivery of excellent service
• Ensure that all departmental documentation and operations comply with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures, including mandatory compliance training
• Process customer requests and transactions professionally and accurately, using authentic conversations to identify needs and recommend solutions
• Perform additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• Ability to motivate and communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group settings with customers, clients, and team members
• Adopt a team-focused approach to support customers in a fast-paced banking environment
• Provide guidance and direction to branch staff following standard procedures when the AFCM is unavailable

Education And/Or Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• One year of frontline customer service experience with a goal-oriented focus
• Registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) is required
• Obtain an NMLS license after employment

Computer Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Office programs
• Use social media channels to enhance brand awareness and gather market insights

Other Qualifications:

• Occasional travel for meetings, training sessions, or support during bank conversions and acquisitions, with minimal overnight or out-of-town requirements
• Ability to provide guidance and support to other banking institutions within the market
