Job Description:

A Floating Personal Banker provides personalized financial solutions to clients by supporting them with their daily banking tasks, overseeing the establishment and management of accounts, and advising on appropriate products and services.

Key Job Requirements and Accountabilities:

Business Development:

• Swiftly create a steady rhythm for SBA business progress within the market, covering a range of elements like:
• Creating call plans and tracking follow-up activities
• Client retention calls
• New client prospecting
• Utilizing phone calls as a means of external outreach
• Networking events
• Foster and enhance a well-developed Center of Influence (COI) network comprising key figures from both community and business circles to stimulate referral generation
• Accountable for sales-related activities, credit analysis, structuring loans correctly, packaging and submitting SBA loan requests, conducting client interviews, and assessing individual qualities
• Source and nurture unfamiliar connections to stimulate business growth and opportunities

Credit Acumen:

• Demonstrates proficiency in comprehending corporate credit facilities, which include:
• Crafting suitable terms and goods that cater to the specific needs of the business, duration of assets, and growth strategy
• The assessment of financial statements and tax returns plays a crucial role in determining the suitability of individuals and businesses for obtaining credit
• Matching credit demands in the short and long terms with the ebb and flow of business sales cycles and future expansion plans
• Shares knowledge with potential clients regarding the policies banks adhere to when reviewing loan applications, SBA offerings, and pertinent governmental guidelines
• Partners with attorneys, loan closing agents, and internal team members to expedite the loan closing and funding process
• Coordinates the alignment of business objectives with customer requirements while also overseeing risk exposure
• Abides by the ethical guidelines outlined by Seacoast Bank’s Code of Conduct
• Guides and advises entry-level SBA lenders in their career development
• Abides by the bank's protocols and guidelines, which encompass regulatory frameworks like BSA, AML, and OFAC stipulations
• Processes loan requests and compiles essential applicant data while maintaining fair lending protocols and ethical sales strategies
• Manages customer complaints in a timely and professional fashion, escalating any unresolved matters as required

Education and Experience:

• Meeting the educational standard of a high school diploma or equivalent is obligatory
• Candidates with a college degree in a finance-related field are favored
• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of specific experience in SBA lending
• Candidates must possess over a decade of experience in either business development or financial services
• Exceptional communication skills across written, verbal, and interpersonal domains
• Profound knowledge of desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones, and Microsoft Office Suite software
