Job Overview:Lending Operations Associate

The Lending Operations Associate is responsible for servicing consumer, small business, SBA, and commercial loans within an environment of high work volumes and strict deadlines. Works on complex assignments requiring independent action and initiative to resolve problems and develop recommendations. This role interacts with bank staff at all levels, customers, escrow/title personnel, attorneys, and various external professionals.

Qualifications and Skills:

• The minimum requirement is a high school diploma or GED, with the added benefit of having an Associate's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a similar discipline.
• A track record of advanced consumer, SBA, or commercial/business loan servicing proficiency developed over 2-4 years.
• Comprehensive understanding of consumer, SBA, and commercial/business lending products, loans, documentation, and services.
• Capability to multitask efficiently and adjust seamlessly to frequent alterations in work routines.
• Excellent at mathematics, analytical reasoning, addressing challenges, and handling multiple tasks efficiently.
• Impressive communication capabilities in interpersonal, verbal, and written forms that transcend different levels within an organization.
• Ability to effectively navigate computer programs such as Word, Excel, loan servicing platforms, and other office applications.
• Ability to excel in a service-oriented environment characterized by a rapid pace and high workload.
• Diligence in observing details and possessing robust analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake loan servicing tasks, including managing loan maintenance, processing payments, inputting data, creating loan documents, perfecting liens, providing support for escrow and tax activities, reviewing flood documents, and reconciling the general ledger.
• Execute the necessary steps to process an array of loan products for clients, including those for consumers, small businesses, SBA, and commercial purposes, as mandated by regulatory standards.
• Offer exceptional service and timely solutions for requests from both within and outside the company.
• Compile quantifiable information to assist leaders in orchestrating and tweaking daily workflow.
• Join in activities aimed at refining operations and assisting with the integration of workflow advancements.
• Confirm preciseness, meet deadlines, and update on task status for potential redistribution.
• Aid others in navigating loan servicing by offering expertise on the relevant procedures, policies, and practices.
• Advocate for ongoing training, development, and knowledge-sharing among team members.
• Join collaborative project groups that operate across various segments and sectors.
• Remain in accordance with all bank regulations, policies, and procedures by staying informed of any revisions.
