Job Description:

The Credit Officer specializes in delivering an exceptional customer experience through sales, service, and digital engagement for both Consumer and Business Banking customers. This role supports daily branch operations, meets customer service and sales needs, and manages customer appointments to identify needs and refer complex issues to appropriate team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote customer engagement by informing them about the diverse Consumer and Business Banking solutions offered. Provide tailored recommendations to address customer needs effectively and emphasize the advantages of digital banking capabilities for convenient banking transactions.
• Handling appointments and consultations entails overseeing customer visits that are arranged in advance or occur without prior notice to identify their banking needs and ensure a smooth handover to the suitable banking partners for complex issues.
• Stick to the bank's sales strategy and provide straightforward, customer-centric guidance.
• Front Desk Responsibility: Assume responsibility for the front desk by welcoming customers, attending to inquiries, and taking ownership of resolving urgent banking needs.
• Support daily branch activities by assisting with customer transactions, resolving overdraft issues, and verifying compliance with internal procedures. Perform required operational tasks as directed.
• Compliance and Risk Management Protocols: Staying informed about Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), and Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures. Identifying and escalating potential fraud cases. Ensuring operational and regulatory compliance.
• Customer Resolution: Promptly address and record customer complaints, following through with efficient resolution and proper documentation. Ensure customer concerns are resolved effectively and promptly.
• Sales Referrals require identifying potential sales leads and directing customers to the appropriate banking counterparts for tailored product options.

Scope of Responsibilities:

• Provide top-notch support and promptly solve customer problems.
• Elevate branch sales and create more engaging customer encounters.
• Perform a variety of duties within the branch, including commencing account creations and facilitating loan originations, as well as resolving problems and managing transactional activities.
• Convey understanding and care for customers, prioritize their satisfaction in every interaction, be ready to accommodate different situations, and exhibit comfort in utilizing digital technology when engaging with customers.

Prerequisites in Education and Work Experience:

• Acquiring a GED or high school diploma qualification.
• Individuals applying for the position should have a minimum of one year of exposure to retail sales, call center tasks, customer service, or telesales.
• Adept in communicating effectively both verbally and in personal interactions.
• Capability to address challenging customer dialogues and diverse customer demands proficiently.
• Well-organized with strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Capacity to excel under pressure while contributing to a swift team dynamic.
• Adept at using internet-level technology effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingualism tailored to particular branch requirements.
• Established track record in sales performance or generating referrals.
• Physical Requirements:
• Having the capability to stay upright without rest for extended periods.
• Sustained usage of hands and fingers for an extended time frame.
• Proficient in lifting a range of objects, from light to heavy, typically weighing between 5 and 30 pounds.
• Talent for deciphering fine print.
• Skill in directly engaging with clients on location.
