Role Overview:Audit Strategy Manager

The Audit Strategy Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of audits that pertain to discrete business units or functional areas within the company. Furthermore, they supervise the Audit team throughout the audit processes.

Depth & Scope:

• Aids in creating audit plans for individual businesses or functional units, specifying resource requirements and budgetary plans.
• Bears the primary duty for concluding audits, including planning and directing them, overseeing team members working on several audits, forming conclusions, and communicating the scope and findings to the business department.
• Engages in evaluations of vital audit areas. Assesses audit documentation meticulously. Manages the verification of findings and the validation of concerns.
• Confirms that audits are conducted and concluded following approved standards and within set timelines, budget constraints, and scope requirements to ensure timely compliance.
• Directs a small to medium team assigned to a given audit, offering guidance and feedback on performance throughout the audit.
• Their analysis of internal and external risks for designated business lines or functions is informed by their subject matter proficiency.
• Organizes the alignment of audit planning, execution, and finalization with process owners.

Education & Experience:

• Undergraduate degree required
• 7+ years of relevant experience
