In the role of Senior Banking Associate, you will be responsible for:

• Developing, managing, and nurturing long-term relationships with clients through proactive engagement and personalized financial solutions.
• Providing comprehensive advice to clients regarding a range of financial products and services, including deposits, loans, credit cards, and investment opportunities.
• Leveraging the latest technology and digital tools to streamline client interactions and enhance the overall banking experience.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Achieve branch and team sales targets for various financial products, including savings accounts, checking accounts, loans, mortgages, and wealth management products.
• Support clients with financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan or credit card payments, wire transfers, and foreign currency exchange.
• Actively engage with clients to uncover additional banking needs and provide appropriate recommendations based on their financial goals.
• Ensure compliance with all banking regulations and policies, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements.
• Assist with the loan application process, including personal, home, and business loans, ensuring that all required documentation is submitted and reviewed in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with other departments within the bank to provide seamless service to clients, including treasury, investment, and mortgage teams.
• Provide training and support to junior staff and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment within the branch.
• Utilize digital tools and banking systems to track customer interactions, document processes, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the bank’s products, services, and industry trends to effectively advise clients.

Qualifications include:

• A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required, with a Bachelor's degree preferred in finance, business, or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in a customer-facing role, with a focus on banking products, sales, and financial services.
• Possession of Series 6 and 63 licenses is highly preferred to enable participation in investment transactions and the sale of life insurance products.
• Strong financial acumen with a deep understanding of personal and commercial banking products and services.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and provide tailored financial solutions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet sales goals, and manage multiple client accounts effectively.
• Proficiency in using branch technology, mobile banking apps, and online banking systems to serve clients efficiently.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address client needs promptly and effectively.
