Job Description:

As a Banking Services Associate (BSA), you will assist in delivering seamless banking services to clients, supporting branch operations, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Banking Services Associates work closely with Relationship Bankers, Tellers, and branch staff to provide accurate guidance, process transactions efficiently, and resolve client inquiries. You will help clients access the bank's full range of services, including traditional branch offerings, digital tools, and partner resources. All BSA roles receive comprehensive training on products, services, compliance, and operational procedures necessary to perform the role effectively.

Key Functions and Responsibilities:

• Educate clients on the full range of bank services, including in-person assistance, digital tools, and resources from business partners.
• Support individual and branch goals through client interactions, both in-person and via outreach, delivering solutions and recommendations based on customer needs.
• Assist with account opening and closing, help clients select appropriate accounts, conduct account research, and ensure compliance with BSA and CIP regulations.
• Facilitate consumer loan applications by gathering documentation, maintaining knowledge of loan policies, and assisting with branch loan portfolio administration.
• Identify client needs and direct them to specialized teams, including small business, corporate, mortgage, and financial advisors.
• Maintain high levels of client satisfaction through professional and attentive service.
• Ensure all departmental documentation and activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures, completing required compliance training.
• Process client requests and transactions accurately and professionally, engaging in genuine conversations to identify needs and provide solutions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by branch management.

Qualifications:

• Strong ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Collaborative approach to support branch operations and meet customer needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to guide and assist branch staff following standard operating procedures in the absence of branch leadership.

Education and/or Experience:

• HS Diploma/GED required.
• Minimum 12 months of customer-facing experience with goal-oriented performance.

Computer Skills:

• Proficiency with MS Office programs.
• Use social media and digital tools effectively to increase brand visibility and market knowledge.

Other Qualifications:

• Occasional travel for meetings, training, or assisting with branch conversions and acquisitions; minimal overnight stays or out-of-town travel may be required.
• Ability to provide guidance and support to other banking professionals in the market.
