Role Overview:

Tasked with overseeing the sales and marketing of Truist Mortgage Loan products in alignment with bank policies and procedures. Ensures efficient referrals to other bank services and insurance products, while offering clients top-quality guidance.

Vital responsibilities and duties:

• Implement effective marketing plans for mortgages and business development to accomplish or surpass production goals.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of the mortgage strategies, policies, procedures, and secondary market investor guidelines applied by Truist.
• Uphold complete compliance with Truist policies and procedures, in addition to state and federal regulatory guidelines.
• Offering well-informed advice on mortgages after gaining a complete understanding of the client's needs and the advantages of Truist Mortgage products.
• Ensure the systematic implementation of Truist's referral process by linking mortgage clients to additional bank offerings.
• Help ensure the completion of required documentation follow-up for mortgage loans involving clients, lawyers, or appraisers through quality assessments or post-closing audits.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of one year of banking or lending experience is required, as well as a basic knowledge of the different types of residential properties.
• Skilled in organization, with a talent for articulate written and verbal expression.
• Shows proficiency in interpersonal relationships and negotiation expertise.
• Command of relevant technological platforms.
• Compliance with the provisions of the SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act necessitates acquiring NMLS registration and successfully passing a background check within 30 days.

Preferred Qualifications:

• To be eligible for this position, candidates should have a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, or a related area, or the equivalent in financial sales experience.
• Over two years of experience in residential mortgage lending, offering comprehensive knowledge of the local market dynamics and regulatory protocols.
• Established achievements in sales and prior responsibilities in leadership positions.
