The Branch Services Representative operates within a physical TD branch and is crucial in providing exceptional customer service by efficiently and accurately handling routine banking transactions. Additionally, they are responsible for informing customers about TD's offerings and guiding them towards specialized solutions through referrals to appropriate partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out TD's brand commitment to customers by consistently displaying the right actions to provide an exceptional customer service experience in the retail outlet
• Efficiently carrying out customer transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan, and safe deposit box payments is a key responsibility
• Conducts cash transactions with precision, including check cashing, currency verification, balancing of cash register, and evening deposits
• Deals with customer questions and issues utilizing established protocols and refers them to higher authorities if needed
• Takes charge of the lobby by organizing the movement of customers, offering a friendly greeting, and providing direction as needed
• Grasping customer preferences within the banking sector, including their desired timing and methods, and informing customers about self-service and digital solutions tailored to their requirements
• Acts as a customer advocate through meaningful discussions about individual needs, providing financial and digital options, and directing customers to suitable partners for assistance
• Exhibits good judgment and offers prompt solutions, escalating complex matters to supervisors when necessary
• Ensures adherence to company policies and regulations, such as the Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act, while carrying out operational tasks to reduce potential risks and safeguard clients
• Confirms the identity of customers in accordance with established authentication policies and procedures
• Checks and verifies the funds in cash registers, ATMs, and TCDs/TCRs as required
• Follows the protocols and standards for safe deposit box procedures and operations
• The individual is in charge of overseeing cash drawers and vaults, ensuring they adhere to specified cash limits and remain safeguarded constantly

Qualifications:

• Obtaining a high school diploma or a GED credential is essential for many individuals after completing their secondary education
• Preference is given to candidates with six months of work-related experience, which may also be substituted by demonstrating an equivalent through volunteering, education, or military background
• Availability to work during designated hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required
• Experience in providing customer service is desired
• Strong organizational skills
• Detail-oriented
• Capability to operate effectively in a dynamic and rapidly changing setting
• Outstanding ability to effectively communicate with precision, clarity, and uniformity
