Commercial Client Manager

Job Description:

The Commercial Client Manager is tasked with the comprehensive management and strategic development of a commercial client base. This role is essential for driving business growth, strengthening client partnerships, and ensuring the highest standards of credit quality and portfolio health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively expand and oversee corporate lending portfolios and commercial savings accounts.
• Cultivate long-term, high-trust relationships with existing customers and new business leads.
• Coordinate and streamline the administration of loan and deposit applications.
• Partner with diverse internal divisions to provide integrated financial products and services.
• Execute thorough loan underwriting and ensure the complete accuracy of all required documentation.
• Maintain continuous oversight of the investment mix while implementing effective risk mitigation strategies.
• Strictly adhere to the regulatory standards and internal policies mandated by the banking institution.
• Deliver premium client service by promptly and effectively resolving any complex account issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (equivalent professional experience is acceptable).
• A solid professional track record in commercial lending, typically with 5 to 10 years of experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in evaluating credit risks and structuring complex loan agreements.
• Deep understanding of banking industry practices and the current regulatory environment.

Skills:

• Highly developed sales strategies and the ability to build immediate client rapport.
• Superior analytical thinking combined with clear, professional communication skills.
• Meticulously organized with a strong focus on detail and documentation.
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and financial software.

Additional Information:

• This role is primarily based in a professional office environment with consistent computer use.
• The position may require periodic travel to meet with clients or attend off-site meetings.
