Job Description:

The Commercial Loan Portfolio Manager plays a key role in evaluating risk and managing the Bank's loan portfolio by offering analytical support and credit supervision, ensuring timely reviews, renewals, compliance checks for loan agreements, and overseeing financial collections for specific loan portfolios. Works closely with Relationship Managers to nurture and promote a premium and profitable loan portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Examine key data to calculate a risk assessment rating and to determine the suitability of a prospect or ongoing credit as a manageable risk.
  • Monitor credit risk patterns among customers and in the overall portfolio, and alert management to any alterations in risk dynamics.
  • Work alongside Relationship Managers to conduct meetings with both current and future clients to gain insight into their specific requirements and expectations.
  • Acquire suitable financial data to achieve accurate risk assessment and thorough underwriting examination.
  • Respond to client queries and confirm the accuracy of all details required for loan underwriting.
  • Evaluate the international cash streams concerning commercial and individual potential clients, borrowers, and guarantors.
  • Develop various financial spreads, credit presentation sheets, narratives, relationship summaries, and loan pricing models.
  • Aid in determining the rates and conditions for new borrowings and refinancing.
  • Arrange the necessary steps for completing loan closing and booking tasks.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and scrutinize data unique to the sector to detect possible risks.
  • Dispatch renewal notifications at regular 4-month intervals and carry out assessments to verify compliance with loan terms and conduct yearly reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with all essential regulations and training modules.
  • Fulfill any other responsibilities as designated.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a bachelor's program in business, finance, accounting, or similar field.
  • Candidates should have at least two years of experience, with a preference for two to four years.
  • Demonstrates adeptness in performing analytical assessments and credit evaluations.
  • Driven by goals and equipped with effective troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Impressive interpersonal aptitude and prowess in developing connections with individuals.
  • Excellent skills in grammar, typing, and spelling.
  • Demonstrates strong skills in coordinating tasks and time wisely.
  • Expertise in utilizing Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook proficiently.
