Commercial Risk Manager

Job Description:

We are looking for a Commercial Risk Manager to join the Commercial Real Estate Group (CREG) and undertake tasks involving underwriting, credit monitoring, and portfolio management for acquisition, value-add/bridge, and construction loans across various asset classes.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the RM to structure, assess, and supervise non-owner-occupied commercial real estate loans according to the Bank's approved guidelines and policies.
• Collaborate with the Relationship Manager to enhance client service and legal process management, serving as a communication bridge between different business units and external parties.
• Assessing and creating preliminary review briefs, official loan approval letters, modifications, yearly reviews, and alterations in risk analysis.
• Continuing portfolio management comprises tracking financial reports, assessing covenant compliance, and adjusting risk ratings as needed.
• Ensure that all operations are in line with the Bank's regulatory and credit requirements.
• Execute diverse administrative responsibilities and special initiatives for maintaining a portfolio of clients.

Qualifications:

• Successful candidates will have a bachelor's degree or a combination of education and directly relevant experience.
• Candidates with a background in commercial banking encompassing 5-10 years, with a minimum of 2 years of direct portfolio management experience in commercial real estate, are encouraged to apply for this position.
• Skilled underwriting practices, Excel modeling proficiency, and professional business writing acumen.
• Attention to detail.
• Capability to evaluate financial statements related to individuals, companies, and funds.
• Shows mastery in interpreting credit policy and procedures and can precisely assess the risk associated with loans/credits.
• Create remedies for resolving problem loan credit situations.
• Possesses a deep understanding of treasury services and derivative products, showing the ability to efficiently coordinate the Bank’s resources to deliver tailored comprehensive solutions to the company.
