Banking Relationship Officer

Job Overview:

Banking Relationship Officers are responsible for understanding clients’ financial goals and delivering personalized banking solutions that support their short-term needs and long-term financial success.

This is a full-time role based in Clinton, MD, requiring 40 hours per week. The Banking Relationship Officer focuses on providing excellent customer service, handling sales and service requests, and developing strong, long-term customer relationships while recommending appropriate banking products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive sales by engaging customers through branch interactions, phone conversations, and scheduled appointments
• Assess customer financial needs and recommend suitable banking products and services
• Open accounts, process transactions, and support lending and service-related requests
• Use CRM systems and digital tools to enhance customer engagement and relationship management
• Ensure compliance with banking policies, procedures, and risk management standards
• Support branch operations and contribute toward achieving business and sales objectives

Additional Responsibilities:

• May be authorized to perform Notary Public duties

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years of customer service or sales experience required

• Ability to collaborate effectively and use digital tools efficiently

Licensing Requirement:

• May require registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)
