Job Description:

Financial Client Support Analyst help shape the future of service by modernizing the client experience through an elevated standard of care. The Client Service Associate assists with the development and growth of business through engaging and utilizing the full capabilities of the firm. This is a key role that requires an understanding of firm policies, procedures and firm capabilities in order to deliver the full firm to clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Client Support:

  • Enhance and foster client relationships by consistently communicating with clients, addressing their requests, resolving inquiries, providing guidance, and maintaining the accuracy of key information and documentation
  • Identify and provide assistance with Firm services and solutions that are tailored to meet clients' needs, including banking services and secure, digital solutions like Morgan Stanley Online and Morgan Stanley Mobile
  • Ensure approval and verify the legitimacy of the client while handling requests
  • Administer and sustain client accounts by compiling client information and requisite documentation, managing monetary transactions for instance
  • Evaluate and handle client account alerts in a timely fashion

Other:

  • Assist financial advisors in strategizing a business plan and ensuring the delivery of exceptional client service
  • Assist in reinforcing the team's marketing direction through the management of marketing collateral, digital platforms, and the coordination of client events and seminars
  • Stay actively involved in relevant training sessions and educational initiatives that support the organization's strategic goals, personal advancement, and awareness of policies, protocols, and innovative platforms, while also making a commitment to attending designated monthly training calls for field service personnel
  • Assist Financial Advisors by undertaking administrative duties like managing phone calls, arranging business trips, scheduling client meetings, compiling travel expense records, and maintaining calendars and files
  • Participate proactively in initiatives directed by local management
  • Regularly explore avenues to leverage company assets for exchanging ideas and working together with Financial Advisors

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma/Equivalency
  • College degree preferred
  • Practical experience in the sector is a bonus
  • Aspiration to earn Series 7 (GS) and Series 66 (AG/RA) or Series 63 (AG) alongside Series 65 (RA) certifications

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Skilled in computer operations and well-acquainted with the functionalities of Microsoft Office programs
  • Exceptional written communication, interpersonal aptitude, and customer care capabilities
  • Renowned for meticulousness and superior organizational capabilities, consistently prioritizing tasks effectively
  • Exhibits a talent for cooperating with others and supporting team objectives
  • Proficiency in navigating a rapidly evolving and fast-paced work environment
  • Results-focused, self-directed, and driven by objectives
