Job Description: Treasury Specialist

As a Treasury Specialist, you will be responsible for managing cash flow, liquidity, and treasury operations while supporting Relationship Bankers and other teams. This role focuses on ensuring accurate financial transactions, monitoring cash positions, and providing solutions to optimize liquidity and risk management. Treasury Specialists engage with internal teams and clients to facilitate efficient treasury operations and support the bank’s overall financial strategy.

Key Functions and Responsibilities:

• Educate clients on the bank’s treasury products and services, including cash management solutions, payment processing, and digital treasury tools.
• Support the achievement of personal and branch objectives by proactively assisting with treasury-related transactions and processes.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulations.
• Assist with consumer and commercial loan-related treasury functions by reviewing transactions, verifying account activity, and supporting account management.
• Identify client needs and coordinate with Relationship Bankers and other teams to provide comprehensive treasury solutions for businesses and individuals.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering professional, accurate, and timely treasury support.
• Ensure all departmental documentation and processes comply with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and internal procedures, including completion of required compliance training.
• Handle inquiries and transactions professionally, providing recommendations and solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills for interacting with clients, colleagues, and internal teams.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented banking environment.
• Capable of supervising and guiding branch staff according to established processes when necessary.

Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 12 months of experience in customer-facing, financial, or treasury-related roles.
• Registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) may be required depending on role responsibilities.

Computer Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to leverage digital and social platforms to support client engagement and business insights.

Other Qualifications:

• Occasional travel for meetings, training, or operational support, with minimal overnight or out-of-town requirements.
• Ability to provide guidance and assistance to other banking institutions within the market.
