Universal Teller

Job Description:

This role focuses on delivering a high quality customer service experience while accurately processing financial transactions, assisting existing and prospective customers, and supporting branch sales objectives.

Position Accountabilities:

Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive customer experience
Process basic customer interactions and financial transactions accurately
Balance cash daily to ensure financial accuracy
Identify potential referral opportunities to support branch goals
Comply with all applicable banking laws and regulations, including Atlantic Union Bankshares’ BSA/AML Policy and Procedures
Identify risks and escalate concerns through proper channels
Maintain knowledge of bank products, services, and other business lines
Adapt to and learn evolving digital banking platforms
Perform other duties as assigned

Organizational Relationship:

This position is supervised by the designated branch manager.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required
Cash handling experience preferred
Prior customer service experience required

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong customer service skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Sound business judgment and decision making skills
Proficiency with computer systems
Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail
Adaptability and flexibility in changing environments
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds
Flexible scheduling based on business needs

Compensation is based on education, experience, and certifications, and may include incentive pay or discretionary profit sharing programs.
