Job Description:

The Customer Relationship Banker is responsible for developing and maintaining strong client relationships by providing personalized financial solutions, expert guidance, and exceptional customer service. This role focuses on understanding client needs, strengthening existing relationships, identifying new business opportunities, recommending suitable banking products and services, connecting clients with specialized banking partners, promoting digital banking solutions, and delivering an outstanding customer banking experience while supporting community engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with both new and existing clients.
• Understand client financial goals and recommend appropriate banking products and services.
• Promote consumer and small business banking solutions while connecting clients with Mortgage, Investments, Wealth Management, and other specialized banking partners.
• Engage with clients through proactive outreach, including follow-up calls, onboarding activities, marketing campaigns, and community events.
• Process banking transactions accurately while following bank policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist clients with service-related concerns, account maintenance, and other banking support needs.
• Educate clients about digital banking solutions, including online banking, mobile banking, and ATM services.
• Support fraud prevention efforts by following security procedures and completing required training programs.
• Help achieve branch sales goals through new account acquisition, lending support, referrals, and client retention strategies.
• Participate in community outreach and networking activities to strengthen client relationships and represent the bank.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Minimum one year of client relationship management, consultation, or consultative sales experience preferred, especially within the banking industry.
• At least one year of banking experience including deposits, account servicing, new account opening, and consumer lending activities is preferred.
• Eligible for NMLS registration or currently registered with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry.
