The Banking Associate focuses on delivering a premier client experience for BOKF's diverse clientele by ensuring every interaction is positive and high-impact. This role is responsible for providing superior service to cultivate long-term engagement, addressing inquiries related to account activity, teller operations, digital banking tools, debit card services, and various other financial products and procedures. The Banking Associate may engage with clients through face-to-face meetings, telephone consultations, online chats, emails, or other emerging digital platforms.

How You will Spend Your Time:

• Create outstanding customer interactions to establish, grow, and maintain enduring client connections. Lead advisory dialogues to evaluate financial requirements and present banking solutions and products to support clients in achieving their goals.
• Offer a diverse array of retail products, including loan options, to both current and prospective customers during routine banking center interactions and teller transactions.
• Educate customers on the full range of banking services available, including online banking, Bill Pay, E-Statements, and mobile or ATM deposit capabilities.
• Address a range of uncomplicated to intermediate client issues with a focus on guaranteeing optimal satisfaction and a seamless experience.
• Conduct essential banking transactions, such as cashing checks and managing withdrawals, while identifying strategic opportunities to strengthen customer connections.
• Adhere to company guidelines regarding internal control, audit, security, and compliance measures, in addition to following all relevant laws and regulations.
• Engage in professional enhancement by attending rigorous training programs, pursuing self-improvement initiatives, and participating in coaching sessions to improve expertise in products, systems, and sales.

Qualifications and Background Needed:

This position usually demands a high school diploma or its equivalent along with at least one year of experience in sales or high-touch customer service. A Bachelor's degree is considered advantageous, or a comparable mix of education and professional experience.

• Practical familiarity with consumer financial products and services.
• Experience in banking, retail sales procedures, and/or contact center functions (phone, email, or chat).
• Proficient oral communication abilities for conveying complex details to customers, addressing concerns, and fostering rapport.
• Strong written communication abilities utilizing appropriate grammar and professional decorum.
• Elite problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, including the capacity to navigate disagreements and find harmony.
• Demonstrated ability to adhere to established guidelines and make informed decisions regarding when to escalate matters.
• Proficiency in fundamental mathematical abilities for the purpose of precise account reconciliation.
• Skilled in operating enterprise computer programs, including word processing and spreadsheet software, with an aptitude for mastering internal company platforms.
• Capability to handle numerous high-priority tasks simultaneously with precision.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, including sales expertise and customer interaction proficiency, whether face-to-face or digital.
