The Branch Service Manager is responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, achieving branch growth goals, optimizing operational efficiency, and developing store associates. Branch Management:

• Allocate approximately 20% of time to managing high-value client relationships.
• Develop and execute innovative sales and promotional strategies to achieve objectives and exceed quality standards.
• Coordinate the delivery of financial products and services, including customized loans, cash management, and investment solutions, by referring clients to appropriate departments.
• Lead the branch growth agenda, targeting consumers, small businesses, or both, depending on market conditions, while maintaining daily and weekly development activities.

Team Leadership:

• Oversee recruitment, assignment, evaluation, development, promotion, and, if necessary, termination of branch staff.
• Coach and mentor team members to acquire essential skills for their roles, including technical knowledge of consumer and small business lending.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, delivering guidance and training as needed.

Operational & Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure branch operations meet efficiency, compliance, and quality standards.
• Adhere to all relevant banking regulations and remain updated on regulatory changes.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures related to the Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security, and other applicable regulations.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience in banking, finance, business, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in retail banking supervision or management.
• Active involvement in community organizations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, banking software, and office equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and develop staff.
• Proven experience in sales and relationship management.
• Knowledge of retail banking products and services; experience in consumer and small business lending preferred.
• Compliance with federal, state, and local loan origination regulations, including the SAFE Act.

Mortgage Loan Origination (MLO) Responsibilities (if applicable):

• Serve as a Bank MLO specializing in open-end products, such as home equity lines of credit.
• Not authorized to function as a Closed-End MLO registered with the bank.
• All MLOs must register and comply with SAFE Act requirements.
