The Investment Consultant role is a three-year initiative for financial advisors or planners, featuring a base salary, focusing on delivering financial planning support and marketing investment management services.
A Investment Consultant will need to leverage their experience to service the unique and complex needs of clients in the Mass Affluent (MA) segment by identifying needs, reviewing financial goals and making investment recommendations aligned to their client's goals. The role will serve as the central point of contact, responsible for providing client service & developing the relationship to achieve greater share of wallet by helping clients achieve their goals related to asset accumulation, preservation, growth, and protection.
Depth & Scope:
Knowledgeable in promoting investment products and providing financial strategies
Exhibits a strong focus on customer satisfaction by consistently providing exceptional service to drive customer loyalty and business development
Committed to providing new clients with a complete on-boarding experience, which includes engaging in an extensive client discovery process, conducting a financial needs analysis to provide advice aligned with goals, facilitating the introduction to the centralized client servicing team as per the client's needs, and ensuring the completion of all requisite client documents
Skill in cooperating to elevate the generation of potential customers
Demonstrates efficiency in goal management, task prioritization, and adeptness in a fast-paced environment
Ensures that clients, both current and freshly onboarded, receive an outstanding MA Planning Experience
Establish a strategic framework to ensure that every client engages in an Annual Client Review (ACR) gathering featuring an enriched program tailored to the client's complete financial well-being and encouraging regular proactive interactions
Handles TD Wealth client relationships for the MA segment, managing all facets of the client's interactions with TD Bank and referring them to Retail and Wealth partners and affiliated entities when necessary
Implements and delivers a unique service experience tailored for clients in Massachusetts
Meets quarterly and annual sales benchmarks
Boosts wallet share by forecasting client needs and recommending personalized wealth solutions. Prioritizes profitability and exceeds client expectations with exceptional service quality
Recognize opportunities within your portfolio and network to recommend clients to Retail and Small Business/Commercial Partners
Ensures compliance with regulations and protocols during the execution of tasks
Ensures alignment with federal, state, and SRO regulations in addition to firm-wide policies that encompass all facets of business activities
Guarantees adherence to all Continuing Education guidelines
Mandated to be aware of and follow the policies and procedures of TD Bank & TD Wealth
In charge of executing the TD Customer Identification Program (CIP) by acquiring and validating the necessary customer identification information, and performing other Customer Due Diligence and Enhanced Due Diligence Requirements as specified in the Business Unit AML policies
Identifies client assets and directs upscale clients to the appropriate HNW Wealth partners when necessary
Entrusted with cultivating and contributing to a supportive and beneficial work environment with a key emphasis on backing the entire Wealth team
Extends support, wealth recommendation education, and continual evaluation to Retail and Small Business workers
Education & Experience:
Individuals must either have a 4-year degree or a corresponding amount of practical work experience to apply
Track record of successful investment sales and financial planning services spanning more than two years
Extensive expertise in navigating through the complexities of investment products and services
Necessary registrations involve the SIE, Series 7, and Series 65/66; individuals holding solely the Series 65 will be required to gain a Series 63 or 66 on the Licensing & Registration timetable
Required Life/Health Licenses or the capability to obtain them in compliance with the Licensing & Registration Schedule is essential
Expertise in sophisticated approaches for developing a wealth management business, incorporating diverse products, services, and the overall industry perspective
Acknowledged talent for achieving sales goals effectively
Skilled at meeting the banking requirements of retail and small business customers
Demonstrated success in building relationships and collaborating effectively with various departments at TD Bank, known as America's Most Convenient Bank
Competence to navigate within the specified area to interact with prospects, clients, and partners, with travel making up 75% of the workload
