Job Overview:Cash Operations Associate

The Cash Operations Associate works in a TD Store location and plays a key role in delivering legendary customer experiences while processing everyday banking transactions with accuracy and efficiency while also educating customers on TD's products and services or referring them to a partner for specialized solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consistently putting into practice TD's brand promise to customers by displaying the appropriate behaviors that enhance the customer experience within the store
• Performing customer transactions proficiently, including activities such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and managing safe deposit boxes
• Conducts cash transactions with precision, which involve tasks like check cashing, currency verification, cash drawer reconciliation, and night deposits with a high level of accuracy
• Assists customers with their inquiries and problems using standard methods, escalating to management as needed
• Coordinates lobby activities by managing customer flow, greeting customers in a friendly manner, and offering relevant instructions
• Grasps customer inclinations regarding the when and how of banking interactions, offering insights on self-service and digital platforms that fulfill their requirements
• Serves as a customer advocate through personalized conversations to ascertain needs, propose financial and digital solutions, and suggest referrals to relevant partners
• Skilled at making well-thought-out decisions and offering timely solutions, escalating complex issues to the appropriate level of management
• Complies with company policies and regulatory requirements, like the Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act, during operational activities to reduce risks and uphold customer protection
• Affirms the identities of customers in compliance with customer authentication policies and procedures
• Confirms and adjusts the cash amounts in cash drawers, ATMs, and TCDs/TCRs when necessary
• Ensures compliance with the approved guidelines and procedures for safe deposit box operations
• The individual takes responsibility for cash drawers and vaults, ensuring that cash remains within set limits and that proper security measures are in place at all times

Qualifications:

• Obtaining either a high school diploma or a GED credential opens doors to expanded opportunities in the workforce and beyond
• Experience in a work-related role for at least six months is preferred, but candidates can prove an equivalent level of capability through volunteering, education, or military involvement
• Obligation to work as per the designated hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays according to the schedule
• Preference will be given to individuals who have showcased excellent customer service abilities
• Strong organizational skills

• Excelling in communication through brevity, clarity, and constancy
