Rockland Trust is looking for an energetic and customer-oriented Business Relationship Manager to become part of their Investment Management Group in Providence, Rhode Island.

The Business Relationship Manager's main duty is to establish and uphold solid connections with affluent customers, offering tailored services to IMG's clientele while also aiding in the expansion of our clientele by collaborating with IMG financial advisors and connecting with key figures in the industry. Acting as the key liaison for clients, the Business Relationship Manager is tasked with grasping their financial goals and providing customized strategies to fulfill all their financial needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain connections with affluent clients, grasping their monetary objectives, willingness to take risks, and choices regarding investments.
• Offer tailor-made financial suggestions and advice by conducting a comprehensive evaluation of clients' financial circumstances.
• Work together with our team of in-house IMG advisors to discuss financial and retirement planning, investment handling, personal insurance, trust and estate services, special requirements, and top-tier banking strategies and resolutions.
• Serve as a reliable consultant to customers, providing outstanding support while ensuring that their investment aims are in harmony with their enduring financial aspirations.
• Identify opportunities in advance to enhance client connections, boost managed assets, and create new leads through referrals and networking.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory updates, and market shifts, and share pertinent details with clients.
• In charge of the daily management of various accounts, including investment portfolios and trusts that can be altered or cannot be changed, as well as estates.
• Keep precise documentation of client engagements, investment choices, and retirement objectives, in alignment with both regulatory standards and internal protocols.

Necessary Qualifications and Background Knowledge:

• A Bachelor's degree in Arts or Science is necessary, while a Master's degree is valued.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the financial services sector or a related field is required, including expertise in trust administration, portfolio management, financial planning, and estate settlement.
• Demonstrated history of establishing and overseeing client connections.
• Dedication to acting as a trustee in the field of wealth management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of financial markets, investment instruments, and wealth management fundamentals, coupled with the proficiency to explain intricate financial ideas to customers in a straightforward and succinct way.
• Demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication abilities to connect with clients, grasp their requirements, and offer customized investment guidance and resolutions.
• Proven capacity to thrive in a rapidly changing and lively setting, emphasizing outstanding customer service and achieving business objectives.
• Preferred qualifications include trust certifications, enrollment at Trust Schools, completion of law degrees, and attainment of the CFP designation.
