As a Account Opening Specialist you will be responsible for building, expanding, and retaining existing client relationships while providing an exceptional client experience. Relationship Bankers will provide expert financial solutions to existing and prospective clients by assessing their financial needs and offering solutions through bank products and services to help clients accomplish their current and future financial goals. Relationship Bankers will be experts in marketing Simmons solutions to our existing customer base and prospects through daily interactions, outbound calling efforts, business visits, networking events and periodic 'At Work' events. Relationship Bankers are expected to achieve and/or exceed their established individual and branch goals.All Relationship Banker Positions will receive the same training on all requisite products, services, needs based conversations, and other tools necessary to perform the role.
Primary job functions and obligations:
One's duty includes guiding and proposing the array of resources provided by the bank to customers, which includes the standard services available at physical branches, the online tools accessible, and the additional support from business partners
Achieve personal goals through the appropriate levels of in-person and outbound calling engagements that provide an opportunity to share valuable solutions and recommendations grounded in a needs-based philosophy
Fulfill all obligations concerning the opening and closing of accounts, assisting clients in selecting suitable accounts, examining customer account specifics, and adhering to BSA and CIP prerequisites
Assist in consumer loan applications: facilitate loan requests, remain informed about loan procedures and rules, help in overseeing the consumer loan holdings at the branch(es)
Unearth customer requirements and connect them with a partner-focused team that assists various clientele, including small businesses, corporate partners, financial advisors, and mortgage professionals
Guarantee a high level of customer satisfaction by actively engaging with our clients and striving to offer an exceptional customer service experience
Verifies that all departmental paperwork and tasks are executed in conformity with the relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures applicable to this role, which includes the fulfillment of necessary compliance training.
Effectively manage customer requests and transactions in a professional and positive manner, engaging in authentic conversations to assess their needs and recommend suitable solutions
Carries out extra assignments as given
Qualifications:
Demonstrating proficiency in motivating and communicating information in one-on-one and small group settings with customers, clients, and coworkers within the organization is important
Adopt a unified team-centric approach to assist customers in the quickly evolving banking environment
Lead and instruct the branch staff according to established procedures and protocols in the AFCM's absence
Education And/Or Experience:
HS Diploma/GED
A year-long commitment to interpersonal customer interactions and target-driven performance
Compliance with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration is a key requirement for this position

MS Office programs
Utilize social media platforms effectively to increase brand awareness and tap into market trends
Occasional travel is expected for meeting attendance, training purposes, and supporting bank conversions and acquisitions, with minimal overnight stays or out-of-town commitments
Capacity to offer assistance and guidance to other financial organizations in the industry
