Northwest tellers are instrumental members of our retail network staff due to their frequent customer engagements. Their functions include providing exceptional customer service by welcoming clients, processing transactions efficiently, resolving issues, offering educational services, and identifying financial needs for redirection to the relevant department. The floating teller role aids in meeting the bank's operational demands by serving different locations and adhering to a flexible work schedule.

Essential Functions:

• Be prepared to have a flexible schedule that may vary from week to week or even day to day to meet the Bank's needs
• Transport to various Bank locations in a specific region on short notice, even during ongoing shifts
• The ability to commute reliably is essential for performing tasks in multiple settings
• Punctuality and attendance are expected
• Meet objectives for financial wellness by identifying chances for referrals
• Offer guidance to customers and visitors by addressing their queries, solving issues, and meeting their requirements effectively. Take the lead in engaging with customers to ascertain their needs and enlighten them about the advantages and attributes of specific products or services. Direct customers to the appropriate team member for advanced requests or services.
• Engage customers proactively with greetings and show commitment to addressing and resolving any customer concerns or problems
• Conduct the balancing of the cash drawer on a daily basis and take part in the dual custody verification for ensuring accuracy in the vault, ATM, and any additional machinery, if required
• Provided with an elevated drawer limit, authorized to sign checks, and given supervisory authority in the teller system when deemed appropriate

• Adhere to the scheduled evening and weekend shifts as needed or as assigned

Education:

• A high school diploma or its equivalent is the favored qualification

Work Experience:

• Previous customer service roles are preferred
• It is advantageous to have previous exposure to cash management
