Position Overview:

The Cash Processing Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while accurately processing financial transactions. This role plays a critical part in building customer relationships and ensuring smooth branch operations.

What You’ll Do:

• Process a variety of financial transactions, including check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, and loan repayments, with a focus on precision
• Handle customer transactions via teller drawers, supporting both bank visitors and employees
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional products and services and refer customers to appropriate staff
• Develop the ability to detect potential fraud and escalate concerns to management
• Ensure strict adherence to all departmental, banking, and regulatory policies
• Uphold and promote Wintrust’s organizational values
• Assist in the execution of procedures for opening and closing the branch
• Engage in community events as necessary

Qualifications:

• A minimum of six months of experience in cash handling or customer service
• High school diploma or GED is required
• Ability to work across various locations as needed
• Flexible availability, including weekends
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Capacity to stand for extended periods
