Job Description:

The Financial Advisor plays a crucial role in attracting and maintaining affluent clients through comprehensive wealth management strategies. Acting as the main point of contact for high net worth individuals and their families, the consultant collaborates with other team members to provide cohesive financial guidance. They assess and cultivate avenues for generating revenue across various product offerings to meet targets for expansion and financial success using a comprehensive financial planning framework. Additionally, they act as a spokesperson for the Wealth division, endorsing and enhancing its presence both internally and within the communities it operates.

Responsibilities:

• Client Acquisition involves the process of recognizing and gaining new customers for the Bank's wealth products by actively seeking out potential clients, receiving recommendations from existing clients, and collaborating with Bank staff. It also entails forming and nurturing key relationships with influential individuals or organizations to boost acquisition activities. This role includes engaging in external networking and promoting market growth.
• Relationship Management involves acting as the main liaison and supporter for affluent potential clients and clients, remaining informed about their situations and connections with the financial institution to create suitable wealth management strategies. It involves showcasing the complete range of services available, like investment options, banking services, financial guidance, insurance products, and trust facilities to clients. The aim is to implement a personalized and attentive approach to foster and amplify current client connections. Furthermore, it includes contributing to the organization and execution of client gatherings.
• Strategic Guidance - Offers professional wealth management guidance to potential and current clients. Designs strategic, all-encompassing, and future-focused strategies aimed at meeting the financial requirements and objectives of affluent clients. Selects suitable offerings, services, and resolutions tailored to the specific needs, desires, and goals of clients. Collaborates with colleagues in the division to deliver continual advice, products, and services that align with the changing demands of clients.
• Collaboration is essential for building strong relationships with Bank stakeholders to uphold the department's strategic direction. It involves working closely with experts across various business sectors to ensure the seamless provision of wealth management offerings to customers.

Essential Skills:

• Requires a high school diploma or GED along with 12 years of experience in client acquisition, asset accumulation, and delivering thorough banking and financial guidance
• Client Acquisition experience
• Asset Gathering experience
• Extensive background in financial planning encompassing a holistic approach to managing finances
• Banking experience
• Investment Management experience
• Insurance Planning experience
• Expertise in Trust and Estate Planning
• Preferred designation is Advanced Advisor/Planning, showcasing a higher level of expertise
• Series 7 license
• The Series 65 or 66 license is a certification required for individuals who want to work as investment advisor representatives
• Obtaining a license for State Life & LTC Insurance involves meeting the necessary requirements set forth by the state
