The Investment Banking Specialist specializes in delivering an exceptional customer experience through sales, service, and digital engagement for both Consumer and Business Banking customers. This role supports daily branch operations, meets customer service and sales needs, and manages customer appointments to identify needs and refer complex issues to appropriate team members.

Primary Job Duties:

• Promote customer engagement by informing them about the diverse Consumer and Business Banking solutions offered. Provide tailored recommendations to address customer needs effectively and emphasize the advantages of digital banking capabilities for convenient banking transactions.
• Supervising appointments and consultations involves managing customer meetings, whether they are scheduled or walk-in, to pinpoint their financial requirements and facilitate a seamless referral to the appropriate banking experts for intricate matters.
• Stick to the bank's sales strategy and provide straightforward, customer-centric guidance.
• Client Interaction: Interact with clients in the lobby, greet them, address inquiries, and assert ownership in resolving their immediate banking necessities.
• Provide assistance in branch operations by aiding with customer transactions, addressing overdraft resolutions, and ensuring compliance with internal guidelines. Fulfill operational responsibilities as required.
• Upholding Compliance and Risk Management: Staying informed about Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), and Know Your Customer (KYC) protocols. Recognizing and reporting suspected fraudulent activities. Guaranteeing adherence to operational and regulatory guidelines.
• Customer Resolution: Handle customer complaints swiftly and accurately, logging them correctly for proper monitoring and resolution. Ensure effective and timely resolution of customer concerns.
• Sales Referrals encompass the identification of sales opportunities and the referral of customers to the correct banking counterparts for customized product options.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service and efficiently tackle any issues customers encounter.
• Improve sales strategies and elevate the quality of customer interactions at the branch.
• Partake in various functions within the branch, like starting new accounts and originating loans, addressing concerns, and facilitating transactional operations.
• Convey empathy and customer-oriented approach, be open to adjusting as needed, and exhibit fluency in digital tools when interacting with customers.

Educational and Experiential Prerequisites:

• Acquiring a GED or high school diploma qualification.
• Experience of one year in retail sales, call center operations, customer service, or telesales is essential.
• Adept in communicating effectively both verbally and in personal interactions.
• Proficiency in handling difficult customer conversations and a wide array of customer requirements.
• Well-organized with strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Expertise in maintaining performance levels in a high-pressure, team-centric, fast-paced scenario.
• Competence in utilizing technology commonly associated with the internet.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Tailored bilingual expertise in accordance with branch needs.
• Demonstrated talent in sales results or referral acquisitions.
• Physical Requirements:
• Being capable of enduring prolonged periods of standing.
• Continuous engagement of hands and fingers leading to prolonged use.
• Adeptness in lifting items of light to moderate heaviness, approximately 5 to 30 pounds in mass.
