Job Description:

Accountable for leading sales and marketing efforts for Truist Mortgage Loan products in accordance with bank guidelines. Promotes cross-selling opportunities for other bank services and insurance products, providing clients with exceptional advice and support.

Principal job responsibilities and tasks:

• Develop and carry out mortgage marketing campaigns and business expansion strategies to meet or exceed production objectives effectively.
• Maintain a detailed understanding of the mortgage strategies, policies, procedures, and secondary market investor guidelines endorsed by Truist.
• Act in accordance with all Truist policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with state and federal regulations.
• Providing expert mortgage recommendations by fully understanding the client's needs and underscoring the benefits of Truist Mortgage offerings.
• Carry out Truist's referral process diligently by connecting mortgage clients with supplementary banking solutions.
• Support in managing the documentation follow-up tasks for mortgage loans concerning clients, legal advisors, or property assessors as stipulated during quality control or post-settlement examination.

Qualifications:

• Candidates must have one year of prior experience in banking or lending and a fundamental understanding of residential property types.
• Displays strong organizational skills, coupled with clear and effective written and verbal communication.
• Skilled in fostering connections and proficient in the art of negotiation.
• Skillfulness with applicable computer programs.
• Obtaining NMLS registration and undergoing a background check are crucial components of meeting the SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act's requirements within a 30-day period.

Preferred Qualifications:

• This position requires a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, or a relevant field, or a comparable level of experience in financial sales.
• Demonstrating proficiency in residential mortgage lending with a tenure of over two years, backed by a thorough understanding of local market conditions and regulations.
• Demonstrated track record of sales success and previous roles in leading teams.
