As a Floating Bank Teller, you will assist customers across multiple branches, providing essential transactional services, supporting Relationship Bankers, and ensuring a positive client experience. All positions receive training on required products, services, and operational procedures to perform the role effectively.
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
Guide and inform customers about the bank's full range of resources, including in-branch services, digital tools, and business partner offerings.
Achieve individual objectives through in-person and outbound interactions, providing solutions and recommendations based on customer needs.
Handle duties related to opening and closing accounts, assisting customers in selecting suitable accounts, reviewing account information, and complying with BSA and CIP requirements.
Support consumer loan applications by requesting loan submissions, staying informed on loan policies, and assisting in managing consumer loan portfolios across branches.
Identify customer needs and refer them to specialized teams, including small business, corporate, mortgage, and financial advisory services.
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through active engagement and exceptional service delivery.
Ensure all departmental paperwork and tasks comply with applicable laws, regulations, and policies, including mandatory compliance training.
Process customer requests and transactions professionally, engaging in meaningful conversations to determine needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
Perform additional assignments as required.
Qualifications:
Ability to motivate and present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings with customers, clients, and colleagues.
Adopt a team-centered approach to support customers in a fast-paced banking environment.
Guide and coach branch staff according to protocols in the absence of the AFCM.
HS Diploma/GED
One year of customer-facing experience with goal-oriented performance
Registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) is mandatory
Obtain an NMLS license after employment
Computer Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office programs
Utilize social media platforms to enhance brand awareness and market insights
Other Qualifications:
Occasional travel for meetings, training sessions, and support during bank conversions or acquisitions, with minimal overnight or out-of-town requirements
Ability to provide guidance and support to other financial institutions in the market
