Within the realm of banking, individuals in the role of a Floating Teller deliver personalized financial solutions to clients by supporting them with their daily banking tasks, overseeing the establishment and management of accounts, and advising on appropriate products and services.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Business Development:

• Swiftly create a steady rhythm for SBA business progress within the market, covering a range of elements like:
• Preparing for phone conversations and tracking progress
• Client retention calls
• New client prospecting
• Utilizing phone calls as a means of external outreach
• Networking events
• Maintain and broaden a sophisticated COI base consisting of community and business influencers to boost referral generation
• Responsible for sales management, credit evaluation, loan structuring, SBA loan packaging and submission, client meetings, and character appraisal
• Source and nurture unfamiliar connections to stimulate business growth and opportunities

Credit Acumen:

• Demonstrates proficiency in comprehending corporate credit facilities, which include:
• Creating tailored terms and merchandise based on the demands of the business, lifespan of assets, and strategy for advancement
• Examining financial statements and tax returns is a necessary step in determining the creditworthiness and risk of applicants seeking credit
• Evaluating credit requirements for the short and long term by analyzing business sales cycles and anticipated business growth
• Shares knowledge with potential clients regarding the policies banks adhere to when reviewing loan applications, SBA offerings, and pertinent governmental guidelines
• Coordinates efforts between attorneys, loan closing professionals, and internal staff to facilitate the timely closure and funding of loans
• Ensures a harmonious blend of meeting business needs, addressing customer desires, and controlling risk exposure
• Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the principles of Seacoast Bank’s Code of Conduct
• Guides and advises entry-level SBA lenders in their career development
• Ensures strict adherence to the bank's policies and procedures, specifically concerning BSA, AML, and OFAC mandates
• Assesses loan applications and compiles essential applicant information while adhering to fair lending principles and ethical sales techniques
• Handles customer concerns in a timely and professional manner, escalating issues to the relevant parties as necessary

Education and Experience:

• A high school diploma or a similar qualification is a prerequisite for consideration
• Candidates with a college degree in a finance-related field are favored
• Preferably, candidates should possess over five years of direct experience in SBA lending
• Business development and financial services positions call for a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
• Effective in written, verbal, and interpersonal communication capabilities
• Profound knowledge of desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones, and Microsoft Office Suite software
