The Branch Operations Manager position entails overseeing all aspects of branch management, leading sales, service, and operations, coaching the team on current procedures, guiding them towards meeting production targets, acquiring new consumer and business clients, making referrals to partners, proactively nurturing existing customer relationships to drive business both inside and outside the branch, and maintaining an active business development and outreach initiative.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• In charge of handling a group of valuable clients from both consumer and commercial sectors, guiding the customer referral process within the bank to fulfill client demands, strengthen connections, and establish robust internal alliances in accordance with OCR directives.
• Managing a team to offer exceptional customer service and adeptly handle customer problems.
• Making the most of available resources and technology to pinpoint and demonstrate sales and service chances.
• Keeping the team informed and knowledgeable about the full range of products, services, technology, and policies.
• Continuously participating in community activities helps in cultivating essential networks both in business and the community.

• Supervising the recruitment and hiring procedures to guarantee that the designated market is filled with colleagues who fit Huntington's cultural values.
• Obtaining resources essential for team support.
• Supervising the branch's operational functions and ensuring adherence to security, risk, and regulatory guidelines.
• Grasping the branch sales, service, operations, and financial performance.
• Exhibiting proficiency in the fields of banking, investment strategies, retail loan services, commercial banking, corporate finance, sales techniques, leadership in sales, client support, operational efficiency, coaching, team building, effective communication, and delivering presentations.
• Executing any other responsibilities as delegated.

Basic Qualifications:

• To qualify for the position, you must have completed high school or earned a GED and have worked for a minimum of one year in a retail sales leadership role that focuses on achieving objectives, or possess a Bachelor's Degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Holding a bachelor's degree and experience in leadership positions.
• Competence in interpreting, steering, and overseeing branch sales, service, operations, and financial success in both physical and digital platforms.
• Exhibits proficiency in banking operations, sales strategies, investment management, retail lending, small business banking, commercial lending, guiding sales teams, client care, operational efficiency, teaching and staff growth, and articulate communication skills.
• Outstanding verbal and written interaction capabilities.
• Ease and proficiency in utilizing technology, including mobile apps and internet banking facilities.
• Comprehension of consumer and corporate deposit services is necessary.
• Capacity to cultivate, impact, spark, and encourage team members to enhance retention within the organization.
