Job Description:

The Floating Personal Banker role focuses on providing services for Banking Center customers and supporting the team in achieving sales, service, and operational goals based on Webster's Strategic Guidelines. Duties involve handling all customer-related financial transactions in accordance with the Bank's rules, regulations, and guidelines. Additionally, this position requires utilizing effective communication and active listening skills to understand customers' financial needs, establish trust, maximize sales opportunities, generate leads, and deliver quality customer service while developing and maintaining strong partnerships with various business segments through collaboration and communication. The ability to supervise and mentor fellow relationship Bankers is also essential

Responsibilities:

• Making the most of resources and tools available enables accurate and timely responses to customers' needs
• Understanding the needs of customers and offering fitting financial services and products through personalized discussions to build and enrich relationships.
• Carry out day-to-day teller operations like depositing money, withdrawing funds, cashing checks, repaying loans, and fulfilling other transactional requirements.
• Reinforce the segmentation strategy by enacting sales, retention, and various banking programs to effectively realize the growth and profitability goals of the Banking Center.
• The objective is to achieve or surpass targets in sales, service, and operational functions both individually and collectively as a team
• Maintaining alignment with Federal and State regulations and internal bank policies and procedures. Attaining or surpassing branch audit standards and assessments of operational efficiency
• Provide oversight for colleagues at the banking center by offering coaching support to other bankers. Act as a role model and help in the training of new bankers joining the team.

Learning, Expertise, and Capabilities:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for an Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
• Experience in customer sales and service for a period of 2 to 4 years, with a preference for 1 to 2 years in a supervisory role. Proven track record in effectively guiding, training, and inspiring others.
• Proficient grasp of the full range of products and services
• Remains informed about all the systems in place for branch transaction processing.
• Demonstrates strong skills in customer service and the capacity to facilitate teamwork, thereby cultivating a positive work environment.
• Required to have the capability to work a flexible and/or rotating schedule that includes weekends, extended hours, and potential travel to other Banking Centers.
