Role Overview:
The Financial Planner role is a three-year opportunity for financial advisors or planners, involving a guaranteed income, to provide financial planning guidance and market investment management solutions.
A Transitional FA will need to leverage their experience to service the unique and complex needs of clients in the Mass Affluent (MA) segment by identifying needs, reviewing financial goals and making investment recommendations aligned to their client's goals. The role will serve as the central point of contact, responsible for providing client service & developing the relationship to achieve greater share of wallet by helping clients achieve their goals related to asset accumulation, preservation, growth, and protection.
Depth & Scope:
Expertise in the sales of investment opportunities and crafting financial proposals
Shows a strong dedication to customer-centric practices by consistently delivering legendary service to drive customer retention and foster business expansion
Pledges to offer new customers a thorough on-boarding experience, involving a comprehensive client discovery phase, conducting a financial needs analysis to deliver goals-oriented advice, facilitating an introduction to the centralized client servicing team per the client's needs, and carrying out the completion of all necessary client documentation
Adequacy in forging alliances to boost the acquisition of leads
Experienced in goal handling, task prioritization, and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting
Verifies that both new and existing clients have access to a superior MA Planning Experience
Institute a methodical process to confirm the occurrence of an Annual Client Review (ACR) meeting for each client, featuring an upgraded agenda that addresses the client's holistic financial requirements while encouraging ongoing proactive dialogues
Serves as the primary point of contact for TD Wealth clients in the MA segment, overseeing all facets of their relationships with TD Bank and referring them to Retail and Wealth partners and affiliates as necessary
Establishes and operationalizes a customized service model for clients in Massachusetts
Meets quarterly and yearly sales quotas
Deepens customer loyalty through proactive identification of client needs and tailored wealth management recommendations. Strives to enhance profitability and deliver a personalized client experience
Identify opportunities within your portfolio and network to channel business referrals towards Retail and Small Business/Commercial Partners
Ensures tasks are executed meticulously while following all regulations and procedures
Follows all federal, state, and SRO regulations and internal company policies concerning business operations, including guidelines from regulatory bodies such as the OCC, SEC, and State Insurance Commissioners
Validates the accomplishment of all required Continuing Education mandates
Required to be knowledgeable about and adhere to the policies and procedures of TD Bank & TD Wealth
Accountable for executing TD's Customer Identification Program (CIP) by securing and verifying essential customer identification information, and conducting further Customer Due Diligence and Enhanced Due Diligence Requirements as delineated in the Business Unit AML procedures
Uncovers client possessions and directs higher-tier clients to relevant HNW Wealth partners if needed
Entrusted with fostering a conducive and amiable work environment that concentrates on bolstering the overall Wealth team
Administers coaching, wealth referral mentoring, and continual feedback to Retail and Small Business staff
Education & Experience:
Either a 4-year degree or comparable work experience is obligatory for this position
Experience exceeding two years in the sales of investments and provision of successful financial planning services
Extensive familiarity with diverse investment opportunities and financial services
Compulsory registrations involve the SIE, Series 7, and Series 65/66; individuals holding solely the Series 65 will be required to gain a Series 63 or 66 within the Licensing & Registration schedule
Necessary Life/Health Licenses or the competence to attain them following the Licensing & Registration Schedule is vital
Thorough familiarity with approaches for enhancing business development in wealth management, involving different products, services, and the industry environment
Confirmed ability to deliver on sales targets consistently
Proficient in overseeing the financial needs of retail and small business clients
Established ability to forge connections and collaborate effectively with various departments at TD Bank, distinguished as America's Most Convenient Bank
Capacity to navigate within the designated market to interface with potential prospects, customers, and partners, with travel making up 75% of the time commitment
