Job Summary:

In the role of a Branch Team Leader, one is responsible for mentoring a successful branch team to achieve and outperform performance goals through teaching, training, and exemplifying sales techniques, while also maintaining operational efficiency. This position places a strong emphasis on coaching for sales success, revenue growth, and adherence to operational standards, emphasizing effective sales strategies and client experiences to provide excellent customer service.

Job Responsibilities:

• Business Performance: Drive market expansion of primary customer relationships and meet growth targets in financial outcomes (such as deposits, loans, and non-interest revenue). Actively pursue and facilitate suitable client referrals to the relevant team member(s) to achieve growth objectives and carry out successful sales initiatives. Exercise independent judgment and discretion to make prudent financial choices.
• Sales Leadership and Coaching: Operating as a Sales Leader and Coach involves creating and implementing strategies to stimulate business development, actively assisting in the execution of sales initiatives by partners and branches, and delivering training, development, and coaching to branch teams on effective engagement techniques to meet objectives. Establishing a conducive environment for branch teams and clients is vital. Talent management entails overseeing various aspects such as recruitment, performance assessments, professional development, disciplinary actions, succession planning, and ensuring staff compliance with regulations.
• Client Experience: Engage clients and educate them using available tools and systems. Foster a culture that is committed to providing exceptional client experiences by aligning with our mission and purpose. Solve problems related to branch operations and client satisfaction.
• Risk Management: Develop a structured approach to risk management that guides teams in recognizing and addressing reputational, regulatory, employee, and client risks. Foster an environment where team members are knowledgeable about and compliant with applicable bank policies and regulations to ensure operational excellence.
• Accomplishes special projects and extra duties as required.
• Consistently follows the regulations and compliance standards associated with the role as outlined and completes the required compliance training programs. Accountable for ensuring compliance with relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Job Requirements:

• High school graduation or the achievement of an equivalent qualification like a GED, HiSET, or TASC credential is compulsory
• Essential requirement: 5+ years of experience in overall branch sales
• (2) Required to have at least two years of leadership experience
• Enrollment in the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) is a prerequisite for compliance with the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and its corresponding regulatory provisions
• An undergraduate degree completed over a four-year period is the preferred credential
